Y’all a sista is grinding! I have two jobs and a blog, and not to mention a man, fur babies, and kids… like 11 of them! So needless to say some times I have to make quick and easy meals… hence why the crock-pot is the best invention EVER!!!
Lol but don’t get me wrong, we are eating good! And between my baby mamas and I somebody is always eating some tasty! So this week I will show how to make a packet meal that requires little skills… for all my kitchen-challenged sista out there… that you and your family will love! Let’s go!
- 1 lbs of Ground Beef
- 2 Sweet Potatoes (I use sweet potatoes because he loves them, but you can use any potato you like.)
- 1 Onion
- 1 Bag of frozen Mixed Vegetables
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Steak Seasoning
- Aluminum Foil
Pull out 4 sheets of Aluminum Foil, large enough to wrap around all contents of the pouch.
Divide Ground Beef into 4 burger patties.
Slice Onion into 4 equal slices.
Peel and slice Sweet Potatoes into medallions.
In the middle of Aluminum Foil, place 1 Burger Patty. Season with Steak Seasoning and a few dashes of Worcestershire Sauce. Place Onion slice on top of it. Add Frozen Mixed Vegetables. Top with slice Sweet Potatoes. Season a little bit more with Steak Seasoning. Wrap up really tightly.
Place in crock-pot on low for 8 hrs.
And that’s it, you’re done! You can serve right out of the packets. The beauty of this dish is that you can use and meat or vegetables, and it screw-up proof!
